Course Description:

KD offers ratings for the Private Helicopter Pilots License. Training is accomplished in the Bell-47, The Schweizer 300. Depending on presently held rating, the training is specifically designed to your needs. Call the number below  to obtain the details you need. We offer Financing assistance.

While training for your rating in the Helicopter class rating, you will fly both of the models show in these pictures. If you already have a fixed wing  Pilots License then the requirements are different than if you only want roto wing ratings. Call the number below for details.

Cost items for Helicopter Private Pilot:

• 30 hrs dual, 10hrs solo.
• 3 hrs pre/post flight ride
• Textbooks, log book flight computer, and materials
• FAA knowledge test
• FAA medical exam.
• Practical test

• Rates for Schwizer 300 or Bell 47 $300/Hr Duel or Solo.
• Bell Jet Ranger $700.

F.A.A. Requirements:

• Obtain a Third Class Medical Certificate
• Pass the FAA knowledge test
• Obtain 40 hrs of fixed wing flight time, 30 hrs duel, 10 hrs solo
• Pass an FAA practical test
