FAA Requirements:
  1. Obtain a Third Class Medical Certificate
  2. Pass an FAA knowledge test
  3. Obtain 40 hrs of helicopter flight time, 30 hrs duel, 10 hrs solo
  4. Pass an FAA practical test

  1. 30 hrs dual
  2. 10 hrs solo
  3. 15 hrs pre/post flight
  4. 20 hrs ground
  5. Textbooks and materials
  6. FAA knowledge test
  7. FAA medical exam/ student pilot certificate
  8. Practical test
